The food pantries are experiencing an influx of people in need of food and non-perishables. In addition, we have a few people who come into our building because they know we usually have food for distribution. A member has volunteered to deliver to area food kitchens and shelters. If you can purchase a few grocery items each time you shop and bring them to the temple, it would be a great help.

There are many ways in which you may contribute to the temple.
A contribution of time and talents is invaluable. Join a committee and help to work on a project. Our members have so many skills, some tapped, some untapped. Make your talents known. You'll be glad you did, and your help will be greatly appreciated.
Financial contributions are, of course, appreciated because they help to ensure the future of Central Synagogue's building. Consider:
- contributing to one of the many funds listed on the contribution form. You can fill out the form at home, print it, and send it to the synagogue with a check or, the next time you're in the building, ask the staff for a form. They will be happy to explain the different funds to you.
- purchasing items with gift cards, which may be used at local, regional and national merchants, and even on-line at may stores and chains which have on-line shopping, such as Amazon.com, as an example.
- purchasing items at Amazon.com, through two (2) methods where Central gets 4% rebates on most products (both open in new windows):
- Buy a brick in honor of a loved one. Bricks are placed in the walkway areas in front of the school entrance. In years to come you will be able to show your children, grandchildren, and friends your brick with your name (or their names) as a permanent legacy of Central Synagogue. You can create your own message or choose from selected designs for your bricks.
- using GoodSearch as your preferred search engine and shopping in any of GoodShop's 600 stores, and Central will receive a rebate.
