Every time we are in the sanctuary, we see these words above the bimah:
"Lo amut ki echeyeh va-asaper ma-aseh ya."
"I will not die but live and tell the deeds of God."
These words, like many words in our prayerbook, come from the Bible.
"Lo amut . . . " can be found in Psalm 118:17.
